Education DaysThe E & J Committee provides Education Days throughout the country so that each member has the opportunity to learn about vocal craft and skills. 2012 Education days will be held at four locations for LABBS members only - Come and experience the thrill of singing in a really large chorus!

Quartet Education DaysThe E&J organised a repeat visit from Four Bettys for 29-30 January 2011, following the successful event in 2010. Watch this space for details of the next event. Directors' EducationLABBS is committed to providing quality education for Directors and Music Team members, recognising that these people are central to ensuring the future development of the Association. The next Directors' Workshop Day will take place on Saturday 7th January 2012. Registration is now CLOSED. Please visit the Directors' education page for more details. Foundation CourseA stand-alone course which is a general educational course based around the three judging categories, for your music team and singing members. The date of the next course will be in 2012 over the weekend 9-10 June, at the RAC centre in Walsall. Watch this space for further info. ArrangingAnother successful day for "improvers" at arranging was organised for Sunday November 14th 2010, at the Birmingham Conservatoire. Watch this space for details of future events. Courses on arranging are available every year at BABS Harmony College. CoachingEvery club has the opportunity to receive coaching from a knowledgeable coach within LABBS. Every club and quartet can also approach coaches or music, presentation and singing judges and willing trainees on the LABBS coaching programme. They're there! Use them! Voice BoxE & J contribute regularly to the new LABBS magazine, Voice Box. Articles may cover ways to improve as an individual or as a chorus, shed light on what the Judges look for in competition or how to choose songs for competition. Look out for your next copy!
